Cheenu Saltern

We have been issued CTE for the Processing of the Mixed salt getting generated from the Textile , tannery , pharmaceutical and other chemical industries . We are in the process of getting the CTO approval . Consent to Establish is been issued by TNPCB and is in process to receive Consent to Operate

About 95% of permeate water is recovered from the RO plant in ZLD system for textile, tannery, Pharmaceutical and other processing industries. Also salt and condensate is recovered from MVRE /MEE. The left out final reject of 1% is passed through Agitated Thin Film Drier (ATFD) and the salt gets generated at the final stage consists of Sodium chloride, Sodium sulphate, Magnesium and some other chemicals would be generated.

We as Cheenu Saltern in the process of Processing and separating the mixed salt as Grade I and Grade II salt and reuse it as Industrial salt.

⏵ CPCB issued a Letter vide Letter F.No.B-29016/(55-1097)20/WM-II/Div/AR/ Date 04.06.2020 to the M/S.Cheenu Saltern for Mixed salt waste disposal.

⏵ TNPCB issued the Consent to Establishment Order No. 2101230522856 DATED: 07/03/2021 to the M/S.Cheenu Saltern for Mixed salt waste disposal.
